Libraries Pausing Resource Sharing

System Branch Pause Date Resume Date Notes
APPALACHIAN TRAPHILL 6/2/26 8/31/26 Only the Traphill Branch Library will be pausing resource sharing, so you will still be able to ship materials to the main Appalachian Regional Library hub and request materials from the other libraries.
CLAYTON ALL BRANCHES 3/30/26 6/22/26 All resource sharing will be paused for Clayton, as it will be closed during this time while it moves to a new location.
FONTANA CASHIERS, JACKSON 6/1/26 TBD

Only the Albert Carlton - Cashiers Community Library and Jackson County Public Library will be pausing resource sharing, as Jackson County Public Library will be going live as an independent library on July 1st.  You will still be able to ship materials to the main Fontana Regional Library hub and request materials from the other libraries.

Until July 1st, you may continue to return materials owned by Jackson and Cashiers to Fontana, but after July 1st, you will need to hold any materials owned by Cashiers or Jackson until such time as they are ready to begin resource sharing.

FORSYTH MJEWHC 4/20/26 6/29/26 Only the Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center (MJEWHC) branch will be pausing resource sharing, as it is undergoing renovations, so you will still be able to ship materials to the main Forsyth hub and request materials from the other branches.
JOHNSTON BENSON 2/16/26 TBD Only the Mary Duncan Public Library (Benson) branch will be pausing resource sharing, as it is moving to a new location, so you will still be able to ship materials to the main Johnston hub and request materials from the other branches.
